What makes our curriculum unique?
Just like we tune an instrument before playing; in music, we tune our voice. Unlike us, most music schools have little experience in designing a curriculum. This is because our curriculum is curated by artists who have been teaching across age groups. We understand each individual’s strengths and challenges, and carefully facilitate the students in getting adept at style specific training through <i>Conditioning and Command</i>. <i>Creativity and Composition</i> helps students understand the performative aspect.

Ms. Tara Kannan
Hindustani Vocalist
A Gold medalist and A University topper, both in Masters and MPhil (University of Delhi), she is a recipient of ‘Sangeet Kala Vibhooti Samman’, and the prestigious ‘National Scholarship’ by the Ministry Of Culture, Govt. of India . Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Hindustani Music from Faculty of Music, University of Delhi.

This course is for students who want to initiate their training into Vocal Music – Hindustani Tradition. The training of the voice is very crucial as that forms the foundation of learning the art form. This course is a level up: where students will get initiated into learning the nuances and characteristic details of different Raagas and Taalas. The Curriculum provides a holistic learning to the child wherein theoretical aspects and allied arts are weaved into the curriculum.
Min. 2 years or possess knowledge equivalent to the student at the Prayaas Batch
Age : Students will be selected based on their demo sessions
